Day Thirteen
We've decided not to move until November 19th. Two weeks was just too soon, considering we're about 1/10th done with remodeling and haven't even begun to think about the actual packing up and moving part of this whole adventure.
Without further ado, today's accomplishments:
We took down those fake rattan blind/shade things in Ben's studio and added another coat:

He claims it's exactly the color he imagined when he chose it. Success!
Ben also painted the bottom part of the walls in the kitchen. The yellow I picked out is - well, it sure is yellow.

I think it will seem a lot less yellow when the darker floors are in on Monday. Right now Ben is a little alarmed.
I put the first coat of light grey on the entry hallway.

This all used to be bright, horrible orange, you know, and we're both amazed at how soothing and nice it is, even with only one coat so far.
Ben also put another coat of paint on the cabinet doors, and I taped off the upstairs hallway in preparation for painting. There are no pictures of these things, because they're boring.
Accomplished today:
1. Second full coat of paint on Ben's studio.
2. First coat on bottom half of kitchen walls.
3. First coat on entryway hall.
4. Another coat on cabinet doors.
5. Another coat on kitchen drawers (Ben has finally pronounced these finished).
6. Upstairs hallway taped off.
