And even more progress:

First, here's a better picture of the curtains in the master bedroom:

We also put up curtains in the dining room:

And in the kitchen:

And we put up the remaining light fixtures in the house.

And guest bathroom (but we ran out of lightbulbs):

Mom also painted the woodwork in the entryway (it was already white, but dingy) and touched up all the bathrooms.

All we have left to do is:
1. Paint trim in kitchen and Ben's studio (it's already white, so this can be put off indefinitely if we feel like it, which we do).
2. Put up mirrors in bathroom.
3. Replace light fixture in entryway.
4. Fix damage done to stairway wall when moving in - the box springs almost didn't make it upstairs.

I really like the light fixtures! Expecially the dining room! The curtains are good too, but- do you need an iron for Christmas?? (Just kidding)

It took me 3 readings to figure out what you spelled wrong!

The curtains do need to be washed and ironed but I don't care even 1% right now.

Fabulous!

The curtains will 'fall' a bit especially with the damp weather. Who gives a crap anyway - you have a great new house!!!

Molly, it looks FABULOUS!
We broke a lot of stuff trying to get our box springs upstairs, too. We ended up buying a king, since those box springs come in two parts. We could not get the queen up there!
