More Progress
First, some Thanksgiving pictures:
Turkey!

Ben taking the string off or something:

The spread:

And now back to the house.
Today we finally purchased curtains, which is good because a streetlight shines straight onto my pillow and it was beginning to drive me insane.
The master bedroom - they are actually a dark sage green, which you can't really tell from the pictures. The fabric is velvety.

We also got curtains for other rooms but they won't be up until tomorrow. Stay tuned for more pictures then.
Ben put up the shower curtain in the guest bath:
(fancy action shot)

And my mom replaced the toilet seat, which was broken.

They also put up the light fixture in the downstairs bathroom:

This room is now very close to finished. We just need to touch up paint around the edges.

Ben also fixed the washing machine. Yay! We finally got to do laundry. I stood next to the washer the entire time for the first load to make sure water didn't spray everywhere.

Mom also replaced the toilet seat in the master bath. It was also broken.

It conveniently matches the chrome thing we've got going on in that room. Details:

That room is also nearly complete, except for touching up the paint.
The guest bed came today! We now have a completed guest room, except for window treatments. (There is always an "except.")

And that's it for today!

I'm just not sure about the pepto pink bathroom, but I love the rest.
Where did you sit to eat?? Who was there?? :) Lot's of questions.
It's not QUITE as pink as it looks in the pictures, I swear.
We used TV trays! It was just us and mom and our friends Sara and Dave.
You guys did so great with the renos!! The sage bedroom is beautiful.
Happy Thanksgiving! It looks absolutely WONDERFUL and everything seems to be coming together so well! Isn't Ben just the handyman lately - who knew? Thanks for the update - I was beginning to have withdrawels ;) Tell your Mom 'hey'!
