Day Eighteen.
The floors are finished and they sure are pretty. We also put the first coat of paint on the upper half of the kitchen and entryway walls.

(I think the pictures make these walls look yellower than they are.)

Ben also finished sanding the walls in the living room. We still have most of the trim to go. It's kind of sad to walk from mostly finished front of the house to this:

Accomplished today:
1. Floors finished.
2. First coat of paint applied on upper kitchen walls.
3. First coat of paint applied on upper entryway walls.
4. Sanding of living room walls completed.

How gorgeous is your kitchen?
Are you leaving the remaining carpet?
Why is the sky blue?
God, no, we're not leaving that terrible carpet. New carpet is being installed on 11/14. We're hoping to be done with painting by then.
wowza. Love the flooring! Nice.
It's looking so great, Molly and Ben! I like the yellow kitchen.
The kitchen and floors look great.
This has become my favorite Internet stop every day. The new flooring? Gorgeous. You guys are doing such a great job!
Fantastic. Can Ben move his arms at ALL now from doing the sanding?
James, the color is called Oasis - it's Olympic paint.
Ellie, he's actually not too sore! I guess he figured out a semi-efficient sanding method sometime early in Day 2. We're also both at a constant low-level soreness these days so maybe he just isn't noticing it too much anymore.
man, you guys are busting your asses....big vacation planned once its done? seems like you need one
