Day Twelve.

Today Ben washed down the lower portion of the walls in the kitchen and hallway in preparation for painting, and this evening we taped them off and gave them a coat of primer. These parts of the walls were not covered in wallpaper, so we can go ahead and paint them.

Ben also put two more coats of paint on the kitchen drawers. He thinks they are now done, but we'll know for sure when they're dry tomorrow.

I also finished priming the upstairs hallway. At last the orange hallway is no more.

We also worked on Ben's studio - he rolled the first coat on the main part of the walls, and I put a second coat on the edges with a brush.

I wish you were here TOO. We have to work fast because we're picking up the moving van two weeks from tomorrow!
